Day 60 – 52 Books in 52 Weeks

Okay, so Final Fantasy XIII came out and I spend a couple hours after work each night leveling up my characters. Finished the storyline in a week/maybe week and a half – and began working on the end game things. Then came the TV.

So without my TV for two weeks, well, mostly without my video games for two weeks, life around here is pretty boring. No dragon slayings or turtle chrushings. But I keep telling myself how awesome it will look on the new screen.

Things got real crazy. My new tv comes Saturday, and with some maintenance that they need to do on the HVAC unit, I’ve had to totally rearrange my apartment before the tv and stand are delivered; then move everything back for the HVAC guys again. In the process, I’m purging stuff I don’t need, will never fit into and simply have no idea how I ended up with them in the first place.

So since Thursday, I filled the dumpster with my old entertainment center; Friday I just vegged; Saturday, the purge began. It’s amazing how much stuff went down the dumpster and how much stuff I have left.

So after three days of rearranging all of my furniture, exactly four feet from the HVAC RISER on all 3 sides, my apartment is trashed. And Friday night when they’re done with stage 1 of the project…. I can “temporarily” move things back into position. And yes, it has to be done Friday, since the tv will be delivered in the morning.

And now I have another sinus infection. Yay.

On the plus side, I’ve gotten through a couple of books and after the tranquilizers wear off and I get some sleep, I’ll get the blog up and going again. I finished Endrance and and on the last 100+ pages of Nicholas and Alexandra – both incredible books.

Okay, that took longer to type than it should, so sleeping med and xanax kicking in.
Good night. Hopefully a coherent post will be up tomorrow.
