A few people have inquired as to how to pronounce some of the unusual names in Expedition: Andromeda. So here you go!

 

Zy’nayth = Zy (rhymes with eye) nayth (rhymes with faith)

Mik’kenna = pretty much how it’s spelled. Mick-enna

Ky’nayth = Ky (rhymes with eye) nayth (rhymes with faith)

Be’atta = Be (bee) atta (like oughta as in “I oughta do that”)

Jollan (Be’atta’s surname) = Jo (Joe) llan (lun as in lunge)

Kaven = Ka (rhymes with mama) ven (vin as in Vinny)

Maneese (Kaven’s surname) = Ma (as in mama) neese (rhymes with geese)

Lutia = Lu (Lou) tia (shuh – think of the “cia” in Patricia)

Ja’val = Ja (juh as in jungle) val (rhymes with ball)

Kol’non = Kol (coal) non (nun or none)

Ny’van = Ny (rhymes with eye) van (rhymes with Vaughn)

Jil’ana = Jil (Jill) anna (rhymes with sauna)

Karken’al = Kar (car) ken (kin as in kindle) nal (rhymes with ball)
